Rugged adventure, refined hospitality.

Xped Global sells high-end expedition travel, which means holding two ideas that usually pull apart. The trip is genuinely demanding. The service around it's genuinely luxurious. Lean too far either way and you lose half the audience.

Brand identity

Two ideas, one system

Adventure travel brands usually resolve this tension by picking a side. Either the imagery is all weather-beaten grit and the service looks like an afterthought, or it's all linen and sunsets and nobody believes the expedition is real.

We built a visual system that carries both without apologising for either. The rigour reads as capability rather than hardship, and the refinement reads as competence rather than indulgence.

The rugged half, and it means every word.

Made for the photography

Expedition travel is sold on story, and the imagery has to be given room, because that's what makes someone imagine themselves there.

So we built the identity to frame the photography rather than compete with it: restrained type, a disciplined palette, and a system that lets a landscape do the talking. The brand's job here is to get out of the way of the thing people are actually buying.
